1. Introduction

Welcome to Qaziyo, a trusted platform connecting clients with skilled service providers. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Qaziyo’s website, mobile applications, and services. By accessing or using Qaziyo, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Definitions

• "Client" refers to individuals or entities booking services via Qaziyo.
• "Provider" refers to individuals or entities offering services through the platform.
• "Platform" refers to Qaziyo's digital interfaces (app, website, backend systems).
• "Service" means any task or engagement performed by a Provider for a Client.

User Responsibilities

Clients and Providers agree to:

• Provide accurate, honest information during sign-up and use.
• Respect agreed-upon terms for bookings, cancellations, and communication.
• Avoid misuse of the platform, including fraud, harassment, or data breaches.

4. Bookings and Payments

• All transactions must be processed through approved Qaziyo channels.
• Clients must confirm bookings and make payments as directed.
• Providers will receive payment upon successful service delivery, minus platform fees.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Refer to Qaziyo’s [Refund Policy] for details on cancellations, refund eligibility, and resolution timelines.

6. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises:

• Parties should first attempt resolution via Qaziyo Support Team.
• If unresolved, Qaziyo will mediate using platform records and the Contracts Act of Uganda, 2010.
• Legal proceedings, if any, shall be held in a competent Ugandan court.

7. Intellectual Property

• All logos, branding, and content on Qaziyo are protected under Ugandan IP laws.
• Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or republish Qaziyo materials without written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Qaziyo is not liable for:

• Personal or property damage caused by providers.
• Losses resulting from user misrepresentation or violation of these terms.
• Interruptions due to technical failures, security breaches, or force majeure.

9. Amendments

Qaziyo may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updates.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
